Balaghat (MP), Nov. 6 -- In the second incident of its kind in 52 days, a couple have been murdered in this district's Katangi town's Natti Tola area.

Last night, hitherto-unidentified assailants entered a home and perpetrated the crime, which came to light at about 08:30 a.m. today. Sources said that the deceased were identified as Ramesh Hanke, who retired as a driver in the Irrigation Department, and his wife Pushpkala. Preliminary investigation indicated that theft was the motive. A forensics team has been requisitioned. The Hankes resided in Katangi while their two sons work in Nagpur.
