Jammu, May 24 -- The search operation to hunt down terrorists on Saturday entered the second day following gunfight between security forces and terrorists in Chatroo area of Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir.
One Army soldier was martyred on Thursday when the exchange of fire erupted between security forces and terrorists in Singhpura area of Chatroo.
"A massive search operation is being carried out by joint team of security forces as no fresh exchange of firing took place with terrorists," said an official.
He said the firing stopped on Thursday evening and no exchange of fire took place thereafter," he said.
