Bokaro, Sept. 20 -- The search operation entered its second day today after two brothers went missing in the Damodar river during the immersion of Lord Vishwakarma's idol near the Kargali Water Filter Plant under Bermo police station in Bokaro district.
Even after 24 hours, there is no trace of the youths.
According to official sources, divers are engaged in the rescue operation, exploring every possible location in the river.
Police said the missing youths have been identified as Rakesh Kumar (22) and Ankit Kumar (18), both residents of Jehanabad in Bihar.
The two brothers had come to Kargali No. 3 to attend the Vishwakarma Puja celebrations at the residence of their maternal uncle, Vinay Kumar.
