Bareilly (UP), April 14 -- All India Muslim Jamaat (AIMJ) President Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi on Monday condemned the drive of the state governments against the madrasas of Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh and said that these are the same madrasas that played a role in the wars of independence from 1857 to 1947.
Maulana Barelvi said that the madrasas that made sacrifices in the freedom struggle of the country, communal forces are carrying out bulldozer operations against those madrasas.
