Scribes pay tribute to Arun Ranjan at Press Club
Ranchi, July 26 -- A tribute meeting was held at Ranchi Press Club today in memory of veteran journalist Arun Ranjan, former editor of Navbharat Times Patna and Zee News. The event featured floral tributes and a discussion on his fearless journalism.
Congress Legislature Party leader Pradeep Yadav said Ranjan was a rare journalist who challenged the system without losing engagement with it.
Former JPCC president Rajesh Thakur called his writings a guiding light for future journalists.Senior journalist Anuj Sinha recalled Ranjan's bold reporting, particularly his coverage of the 'Belchhi massacre', which he said played a key role in former PM Indira Gandhi's political comeback.
