Hyderabad, Nov. 7 -- The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that it will operate 60 Pre-Sabarimala special trains connecting key destinations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with Kollam in Kerala to manage the anticipated surge of devotees traveling to Sabarimala.
These special trains will operate from Machilipatnam, Narsapur, and Charlapalli to Kollam, covering multiple routes via Renigunta, Gudur, and Guntur, among others. The services are scheduled to run from November 2025 to January 2026, facilitating smoother travel for pilgrims during the Sabarimala season, according to an SCR statement.
