Hyderabad, Jan. 9 -- In anticipation of a sharp rise in passenger footfall during the Sankranti festival season, South Central Railway (SCR) has rolled out extensive crowd management and passenger facilitation measures across major railway stations in the twin cities of Hyderabad and SecunderabadAt Secunderabad Railway Station, 17 booking counters and 20 Automatic Ticket Vending Machines are operational. Passengers are being encouraged to use the RailOne mobile application for ticketing, with Indian Railways offering a 3 per cent discount on unreserved tickets booked through the app using digital payment modes from January 14 to July 14, 2026.
