Hyderabad, Dec. 28 -- South Central Railway (SCR) recorded consistent growth and scaled several new milestones across infrastructure development, passenger amenities, revenue generation and safety during the calendar year 2025.
As part of efforts to decongest major terminals in Hyderabad, a new satellite terminal at Charlapalli was developed and inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January 2025.
In the same month, SCR also conducted the first Annual Conference of the Railway Association of Dermatologists, promoting knowledge sharing among railway medical professionals.
Focussing on staff welfare, a 64-slice CT Scan machine and an in-house Cardiac Cathlab were installed at Lallaguda Central Hospital, Secunderabad.
