Hyderabad, Feb. 10 -- South Central Railway (SCR) has been operating 140 special trains to accommodate the massive influx of pilgrims travelling for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj.
So far, around 1.3 lakh reserved passengers have travelled on these special trains across the SCR network.
Indian Railways has made extensive arrangements to ensure smooth travel for devotees, with over 13,000 trains planned during the Kumbh Mela, including 3,100 special trains and 10,000 regular trains.
