Hyderabad, Oct. 1 -- The Hyderabad Division of South Central Railway (SCR) has commenced the operation of a weekly scheduled Reefer Container Special from the Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal of M/s DP World Multimodal Logistics Hyderabad Pvt. Ltd., Timmapur, to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Mumbai.
The second such Reefer rake was dispatched on October 1, following the inaugural service flagged off on September 24. While the service ensures transit within a maximum of 72 hours, the inaugural rake reached JNPT in just 40 hours, even faster than road transport.
