Hyderabad, Jan. 31 -- Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager of South Central Railway (SCR), conducted a detailed inspection of Tirupati station and other stations in the Guntakal Division on Friday.
He was accompanied by Chandrashekar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager of Guntakal Division, along with senior officials.
During his visit to Tirupati station, which is being redeveloped for Rs. 311 crores, Jain reviewed the ongoing infrastructure work, including the construction of a new station building, installation of lifts and escalators, and other upgrades.
He emphasised the importance of safety guidelines and instructed officials to expedite the completion of the project within the targeted timeline.
