Mumbai, Jan. 12 -- The Maharashtra government has announced that schools hosting Class 10 and Class 12 examinations must install CCTV cameras at exam centers.
However, private and aided schools have raised concerns, saying they cannot bear the financial burden of implementing and maintaining such systems.
The Mahamumbai Education Association has urged the government to provide full funding if CCTV becomes mandatory. The association warned that some schools may refuse to serve as exam centers if the funds are not allocated.
