Patna, July 7 -- Some armed miscreants shot dead one Ajit Kumar, director of a private school in Khagaul Area of the state capital today.
Town police superintendent (West) Bhanu Pratap Singh said that the criminals fired at Ajit Kumar (50), a resident of Mustafapur village, near DAV School in Khagaul area when he was returning by his scooty. The director of the school died on the spot.
Singh said that a special investigating team has been constituted to investigate the murder. The FSL team was collecting the evidence from the spot. CCTV footage was being examined to identify the criminals.
The body has been sent for postmortem.
