Gorakhpur, Oct. 23 -- Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Tuesday said that students should do qualitative research on social welfare issues.
Addressing the gathering here on 38th convocation programme of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Ms Patel said consistent improvement in research works was need of the hour. She said that researches must be connected with public welfare.
UP governor said that girls students have assigned about 80 per cent medals in academics from past 10 years. She said that was good sign but boys should keep the balance by performing better.
She said that girls should stand against social evils like dowry and counsel parents to arrange marriages without dowry. Parents should give better culture...
