New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has strongly condemned a notification dated August 13, 2025, issued by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, designating the video-conferencing rooms of police stations as venues for recording the evidence of police officials virtually.

In a resolution adopted on Friday, SCBA President Vikas Singh, along with the Executive Committee, described the notification as "arbitrary, unlawful, and against the principles of natural justice".
