Los Angeles, Dec. 4 -- Oscar-nominated actress Scarlett Johansson is reportedly in negotiations to join the cast of "The Batman Part II," starring alongside Robert Pattinson's Caped Crusader, reported Variety.
The DC Studios sequel, directed by Matt Reeves, is expected to begin filming next spring, with a planned October 2027 release from Warner Bros. The first film, The Batman, debuted in March 2022 and went on to gross USD 772 million worldwide.
Reeves and co-writer Mattson Tomlin completed the script for the sequel in June. Sources indicate that Zoe Kravitz's Catwoman will not be returning for the follow-up.
