New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed its angst with the language used by YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia during an episode of the online show India's Got Latent, calling it "dirty" and "perverted." and barred him and his associates from airing any shows till further orders.
The top court, however, granted Allahabadia - popularly known as Beer Biceps - interim protection from arrest in connection with multiple FIRs filed in Mumbai, Guwahati, and Jaipur over the alleged obscene remarks made by him during the particular episode of the YouTube show.
A division bench comprising Justices Surya Kant and N Kotiswar Singh instructed Allahabadia to surrender his passport as part of the conditions of relief.
