New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- The Supreme Court today came down heavily on two petitions concerning alleged illegalities in the operations of wildlife facility Vantara and the transfer of a Kolhapur temple elephant Mahadevi (also known as Madhuri), calling them "completely vague", but allowed the petitioners to amend their pleadings and fixed both matters for hearing on August 25.
