New Delhi, Dec. 16 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday sought a detailed response from the union of India regarding the status of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged involvement of Defsys Solutions Limited, a defence equipment manufacturer, in the Agusta Westland helicopter scam.
A Bench comprising Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi was hearing the Union's appeal against a Delhi High Court judgment that had set aside suspension orders issued against Defsys Solutions, despite the company being engaged in several defence contracts with the government.
