New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- The Supreme Court today directed the Bihar State Legal Services Authority (SLSA) to immediately provide legal assistance to individuals whose names have reportedly been excluded from the State's final voter rolls during the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR), ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

A Bench comprising Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi passed the interim order while hearing a batch of petitions filed by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and others challenging the Election Commission's voter roll revision process.
