Jaipur, Aug. 17 -- The People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) has welcomed the Supreme Court's interim order on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) procedure in Bihar and said it will bring transparency to and provide a chance to eligible voters, whose names are missing from the draft rolls, to use their Aadhaar Card for seeking inclusion of their names.
"The order vindicates our fundamental objections and apprehensions raised right from the day of the sudden imposition of SIR, PUCL national president Kavita Srivastava and general secretary V Suresh asserted in a joint press communique Saturday night.
