New Delhi, Sept. 19 -- The Supreme Court has issued a notice on a plea challenging a Bombay High Court ruling that entitled sugarcane farmers to the Fair Remunerative Price (FRP) for cane supplied to factories at the start of the crushing season.
A bench comprising Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta issued the notice, making it returnable within four weeks.
