New Delhi, July 29 -- The Supreme Court today resumed hearings on a batch of petitions seeking uniform guidelines for the regulation and strengthening of Bar Associations across the country.
During the hearing, a serious concern was flagged regarding the growing number of informal interactions between members of the Bar and the judiciary, with a senior advocate alleging that frequent social gatherings involving judges could erode public confidence in the judicial system.
