SC issues notice in plea challenging appointment of Bihar PSC Chairperson amid corruption allegations
New Delhi, Feb. 3 -- The Supreme Court on Monday issued a notice in a writ petition filed by Advocate Brajesh Singh, seeking the removal of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Chairperson Parmar Ravi Manubhai, terming his appointment "illegal" and "arbitrary."
A bench comprising Justice PS Narasimha and Justice Manoj Misra issued a notice but expressed concerns over the advocate's involvement in the matter.
"Our only problem is who filed this? What is your background? Why are you filing this petition? As a lawyer, you should keep away from all this," Justice Narasimha cautioned the petitioner.
