Hyderabad/New Delhi, April 3 -- Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy has welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to impose a stay on environmental destruction in the Kancha Gachibowli area of Hyderabad. The apex court took suo motu cognizance of the issue after concerns were raised by various sections of society regarding the need to protect biodiversity across 400 acres of land. The Supreme Court directed the Registrar of the Telangana High Court to inspect the site and submit a report.
