New Delhi, Sept. 19 -- The Supreme Court has finalized the draft constitution of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and instructed the federation to convene a general body meeting within four weeks to adopt it.

A bench comprising Justices Pamidighantam, Sri Narasimha and Joymalya Bagchi delivered the judgment on AIFF's appeal against a 2017 Delhi High Court ruling that had invalidated the election of AIFF office-bearers, including then President Praful Patel, in response to a petition filed by sports activist and lawyer Rahul Mehra.
