New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- The Supreme Court today dismissed a petition filed by Congress MLA Mathew Kuzhalnadan seeking an investigation against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his daughter Veena Vijayan in connection with the alleged Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd (CMRL) corruption case.
A Bench comprising Chief Justice of India B.R. Gavai and Justice K. Vinod Chandran refused to interfere with the Kerala High Court's judgment, which had dismissed revision petitions challenging the Vigilance Court's refusal to order an inquiry into the corruption allegations.
