New Delhi, Oct. 13 -- The Supreme Court today once again deferred the hearing of telecom operator Vodafone Idea Ltd's petition seeking to quash a fresh Rs 9,450 crore adjusted gross revenue (AGR) demand raised by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

A bench comprising Chief Justice of India BR Gavai and Justice K. Vinod Chandran adjourned the matter after similar postponements in the previous hearings on September 26 and October 7.

Last week, the Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had sought time till October 13, citing the Centre's ongoing efforts to find a solution.
