New Delhi, Nov. 10 -- The Supreme Court today declined a request made on behalf of Kashmiri separatist leader Shabir Ahmed Shah seeking directions for the supply of detention orders passed against him over the years.
The Court observed that Shah is at liberty to approach the Jammu and Kashmir Government for access to such records.
A Bench, comprising Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta, refused the request made by Senior Advocate Colin Gonsalves during the hearing of Shah's bail plea in a terror funding case.
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta and Additional Solicitor General K.M. Nataraj appeared for the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
