New Delhi, Feb. 16 -- The Supreme Court on Monday refused to consider a petition challenging the inclusion of a "logical discrepancy" category in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in West Bengal.

A bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant along with Justices Joymalya Bagchi and Vipul Pancholi expressed reservations about the petitioner's decision to invoke Article 32 of the Constitution.

The judges questioned whether such a grievance warranted the court's direct intervention and advised the petitioner to approach the Election Commission instead.
