New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- The Supreme Court today, continued hearing a batch of petitions challenging the constitutional validity of the Uttar Pradesh Shri Bankey Bihari Ji Temple Trust Ordinance, 2025, which seeks to regulate the administration and development of the historic temple in Vrindavan.

A Bench comprising Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi heard arguments from both sides and suggested the formation of an interim committee headed by a retired High Court judge to oversee the temple's administration until a final decision is rendered.
