New Delhi, May 26 -- The Supreme Court Collegium, led by Chief Justice of India BR Gavai, has recommended the elevation of three High Court judges to the Supreme Court of India.

In a significant move to fill existing vacancies on the bench, the Collegium has recommended the following names for appointment as Supreme Court judges - Justice N.V. Anjaria, Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court (Parent High Court: Gujarat), Justice Vijay Bishnoi, Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court (Parent High Court: Rajasthan) and Justice A.S. Chandurkar, Judge of the Bombay High Court.
