New Delhi, Aug. 8 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today said the Supreme Court's strong criticism of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), where the agency was termed a "crook," exposes the alleged misuse of central investigative bodies.
AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj said the remark from the country's Apex court was unprecedented and indicative of a larger institutional decline. "When the Supreme Court itself calls out an agency like the ED, it confirms what opposition parties have been saying-that these institutions are being weaponized," he said.
Bharadwaj pointed to the case of former Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain, where the court had earlier rebuked the ED but no action followed. "Judgments alone are not enough unless officer...
