Kathmandu, July 16 -- Emergency rescue and other services involving China's navigation satellite system have become available in Nepal as a comprehensive tourism guard service project was launched on Tuesday in the Kathmandu Valley.
Reliable rescue is enabled through satellite positioning and short message communication service unique to China's homegrown BeiDou Navigation Satellite System.
The project also covers travel insurance, emergency treatment, satellite communication services, satellite communication devices and a comprehensive tourism guard platform for tourists to Nepal.
