New Delhi, Nov. 6 -- Sat Paul Sharma was administered the oath today as a newly elected member of the Rajya Sabha by Vice-President P Radhakrishnan at the Parliament House. The ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh.
Representing Jammu and Kashmir, Sharma took the oath in Hindi, reaffirming his commitment to serving the people and strengthening the nation's democratic institutions.
His election is viewed as a significant development, particularly given his strong background as a chartered accountant, seasoned politician, and former cabinet minister in the Jammu & Kashmir government.
