New York, Aug. 2 -- The "Sex and the City" franchise is ending after more than 25 years, with the conclusion of the third and now final season of its spinoff, "And Just Like That.," star Sarah Jessica Parker and showrunner, writer and director Michael Patrick King announced.
"And just like that. the ongoing storytelling of the 'Sex And The City' universe is coming to an end," King wrote in a statement posted on the show's Instagram account on Friday, reports CNN.
"While I was writing the last episode of 'And Just Like That.' season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop."
