Rio De Janeiro, Aug. 4 -- Robert Arboleda and Damian Bobadilla scored either side of halftime as Sao Paulo extended its winning streak with a 2-1 win over Internacional in Brazil's Serie A here.
The visitors took the lead just before halftime at Beira-Rio Stadium in Porto Alegre when Arboleda headed in from Enzo Diaz's corner on Sunday.
Damian Bobadilla doubled the advantage by combining with Nahuel Ferraresi and curling a shot into the far corner.
Bruno Tabata reduced the deficit from the penalty spot after Pablo Maia scythed down Wesley Ribeiro.
Sao Paulo survived a tense final 10 minutes to clinch its fourth straight league victory and rise to eighth in the 20-team standings. Internacional is 13th, four points further back.
