Rio De Janeiro, May 2 -- Former Brazil international winger Lucas Moura is set to return to Sao Paulo's matchday squad after a knee sprain that sidelined him for almost two months.

Lucas has resumed training and could feature off the bench in Sao Paulo's home clash against Fortaleza in Brazil's Serie A championship on Friday. "Injuries are a part of football but I'm dying to be on the pitch and help my teammates," Lucas told Sao Paulo's official website on Thursday.

"The most important thing is that I've recovered and I'm ready to play," added the 32-year-old, who has not played since sustaining the injury in a Copa Libertadores match against Alianza Lima on March 10.
