Rio De Janeiro, March 6 -- Santos has completed the signing of Uruguayan midfielder Christian Oliva from Uruguay's Club Nacional, the Brazilian Serie A club said.
The 29-year-old agreed to a deal that runs until the end of 2028, Santos said in a statement on Thursday.
"I come from a big club, with a lot of pressure," Oliva told a news conference. "I know how to handle under pressure. On the field it is more or less like that."Oliva made 84 appearances in his second spell for Nacional following his 2024 move from Argentina's Talleres. His career has also included spells at Spain's Valencia, Italy's Cagliariand Mexico's Juarez, according to Xinhua.
