Ranchi, Dec. 22 -- A delegation of the All India Santhali Writers Association and the Jaherthan Committee paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister's Residential Office on Kanke Road here on Monday.
During the meeting, the delegation formally invited the Chief Minister to attend the closing ceremony of the 22nd Santhali Parsi Maha and the centenary celebrations of the Ol Chiki script, scheduled to be held on December 29, at Dishom Jaher, Karandih in Jamshedpur.
Members of the delegation included All India Santhali Writers Association General Secretary Ravindra Nath Murmu, Assistant General Secretary Man Singh Manjhi, and Jaherthan Committee executive members Sagen Hansda and Shankar Hembrom.
