Bhopal, July 17 -- Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel administered the oath of office today to Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva as the 29th Chief Justice of the state High Court.
The oath-taking ceremony was organised at the Sandipani Auditorium of Raj Bhavan. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda was also present, it was officially learnt.
Patel and Devda extended congratulations and best wishes to the newly-appointed Chief Justice after the oath ceremony.
The oath-taking was conducted by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain. He read out the notification of appointment by the President.
