Mumbai, July 8 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut today launched a scathing attack on the Maharashtra government over denial of permission for a joint march by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Shiv Sena (UBT) in Mira-Bhayander town of neighbouring Thane district.
"If a Marathi person is not allowed to march for the Marathi language in Maharashtra, where else should such a protest take place?" he questioned, while directly addressing the ruling coalition.
He further said such rulers should be pulled down from their chairs and brought to Hutatma Chowk.
Raut expressed strong resentment over the police decision to refuse permission for the rally organised jointly by MNS and Shiv Sena (UBT), calling it 'undemocratic'.
