Mumbai, Jan. 5 -- : Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and chief party spokesperson Sanjay Raut lashed out against Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde here on Monday for allegedly utilising the police to force an Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena election candidate to meet Shinde, who "persuaded" him to "withdraw" his candidature for the municipal corporation election scheduled for January 15.
Raut said that those who don't have the courage to fight elections are doing such things. Raut challenged Shinde to "fight openly from the front" rather than "stabbing from the back" that unfortunately has become his trait.
