Sanjay Raut slams BJP MP Nishikant Dubey over remarks on Marathi identity
Mumbai, Aug. 4 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut today launched a broadside against BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, accusing him of insulting the Marathi language and identity.
Raut alleged that Dubey came to Maharashtra solely to earn money, as there are no jobs or businesses in his own state of Jharkhand.
"There isn't a single person with the surname Dubey or Chaubey among the 106 martyrs who laid down their lives for Maharashtra. People like him come here only to make money. They exploit the Marathi people and plunder Maharashtra," Raut said.
The remarks came in response to Dubey's statement claiming that Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray's political career would end after the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. Du...
