Mumbai, Sept. 22 -- Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and chief party spokesperson Sanjay Raut today alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's national address on Sunday was advanced from 8 pm to 5 pm to allow BJP members to watch the India-Pakistan cricket match.
Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Raut called PM Modi's "usual time" of 8 pm his "standard time to mislead people." He claimed the time was changed at the request of BJP members. "What great patriots are these people who have made this arrangement! The Prime Minister talked about GST so that blind devotees and BJP members could watch the cricket match," he said sarcastically.
