Mumbai, Jan. 3 -- Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) MP Sanjay Raut has advised Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to merge with the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party instead of remaining in power and criticising the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Raut referred to union Home Minister Amit Shah's statement that Ajit Pawar's faction is not the real NCP, and that the party led by Sharad Pawar is the original Nationalist Congress Party.
Raut was reacting to Ajit Pawar's recent criticism of the BJP in which he said the party has become arrogant due to power and has an insatiable hunger for power.
