Chennai, Sept. 26 -- The hike in H1B visa fees by the US government may not result in strategy change for the Indian information technology companies, said S&P Global Ratings.

In a report titled "India IT Brief: Visa Fee Hike is No Cause For Strategy Overhaul" S&P Global Ratings said the fee hike may squeeze margins slightly and prompt a fine-tuning of on-site hiring and delivery models.

According to the report, for Indian companies like Infosys Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and Wipro Ltd, the obstacles are rising protectionist sentiment, Artificial Intelligence (AI) related uncertainties and macroeconomic developments.
