Sand artist creates longest Kanwar sand art at Puri beach
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 4 -- On the auspicious occasion of the last Shravan Somvar, internationally acclaimed sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik created a magnificent 30-ft-long sand sculpture at Puri Beach, Odisha.
The artwork features the longest Kanwar, accompanied by divine sculptures of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, conveying the spiritual message: "Har Har Mahadev."
This powerful creation pays tribute to the unwavering devotion of Kanwariyas and the sacred spirit of the Shravan month, during which millions of devotees undertake the holy Kanwar Yatra in reverence to Lord Shiva.
