Kolhapur, Aug. 7 -- Sanatan Sanstha trustee has issued a defamation notice of Rs10 crore to former Maharashtra Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan for allegedly referring to Sanatan Dharma as "Sanatani terrorism" following the recent verdict in the Malegaon bomb blast case.
In a press release issued today, Abhay Vartak, spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha, said that the Malegaon blast verdict has "exposed the mask of the Congress-led conspiracy of so-called 'Saffron Terrorism'."
He alleged that, in an attempt to deflect from this, Chavan targeted Sanatan Dharma.
Later clarifying his remarks, Chavan said he was referring not to the religion but to the Sanatan Sanstha, calling it a "terrorist organization." However, Var...
