Kolkata, Dec. 6 -- The Sanatan Sanskriti Sansad, which is hosting the mass Gita recitation with announced five-lakh people participation, has invited West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee to take part at the Brigade Parade Ground in the city on Sunday (tomorrow) where state Governor CV Ananda Bose is likely to be among the guests of invitees.
Secretary of the Sansad Swami Nirgunananda today said the "Panch Lokkho Konthe Gitapath," chanting of the sacred Gita recitation by five lakh people in unison, is expected to attract the expected number of people at the sprawling green turn of Brigade Parade Ground, the only such place in the city's Maidan area where the people have free access.
